Commentary for Governors / SEF

 

The 2025 KS2 cohort achieved outcomes below both local and national averages. The small cohort size means that individual pupil outcomes had a significant impact on overall percentages. Whilst combined attainment was below national figures, leaders have undertaken a detailed analysis of cohort needs and identified priorities within the School Development Plan, including strengthening writing, developing targeted intervention programmes and increasing support for disadvantaged and SEND pupils. Over a three-year period, outcomes remain variable due to fluctuating cohort sizes, with the school's three-year average for higher standard attainment remaining above national averages
