Salary: £23,656 FTE

Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00am–3:00pm (includes lunchtime supervision)

St Mary’s Catholic Primary School is seeking to appoint a committed, enthusiastic and caring Level 3 Early Years Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and supportive school community. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual who is passionate about early childhood education and committed to supporting young children to thrive in a nurturing, faith‑centred environment.

The Role

• Supporting teaching and learning within the Early Years Foundation Stage
• Working closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging, inclusive learning experiences
• Supporting children’s emotional, social and academic development
• Contributing to a positive, safe and stimulating learning environment
• Supporting the Catholic ethos of the school
• We Are Looking For Someone Who:
• Holds a relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification
• Has experience working with children in an Early Years setting
• Is warm, patient and enthusiastic with a genuine love of working with young children
• Can work effectively as part of a team
• Is committed to high standards of care, learning and behaviour
• Supports and upholds the Catholic values of the school (applications welcome from candidates of all faiths and none)
