This week the children made Mexican Fiesta Rice. Last term we thought about what we would like to make in club and Sophia suggested something Mexican so we could remember the Yoakams as they will be in Mexico. The children chopped peppers and onions whilst the rice boiled away. We added tomato and garlic puree and cumin. When the rice was ready, the children mixed the vegetables with the rice and we served it into bowls ready to take home.
