Children in Year 3 and 4 have designed flood-proof homes. The children have been learning about flooding in the UK. The children learnt about soft and hard engineering solutions to flooding and then designed their homes. The solutions included material choices (water-resistant), rain gardens, stilts, sand bags and Aquatic homes.
