After the Gospel assembly the whole school was introduced to ‘Letters to God’. A lovely collection of letters written by children to God. Our assemblies have focused on the power of prayer and never giving up. We talked about how prayer is the way in which we speak to God. We decided we would write God letters knowing that God is always listening. Writing a letter to God serves as a wonderful outlet, allowing them to articulate their thoughts and emotions in a safe and non-judgmental manner. This practice can help children develop essential skills such as reflection, gratitude, and empathy, which are vital for their personal and social development.
